A WOMAN has fallen from the Kingfisher Shopping Centre car park in Redditch.

Officers were called to the incident around 11am yesterday Sunday, January 5.

The incident occurred at the back of car park 3. 

Inspector Mark Chappell said: “At around 11am it was reported a woman had fallen from the multi-storey carpark at the Kingfisher centre.

“Paramedics treated the woman at the scene who had significant injuries and who is still in hospital. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”

He added: “I would ask for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information to please get in touch by calling 101 and quoting incident 210s of 5 January 2020.”

A spokesperson from the shopping centre said: "We are aware of a police incident that occurred at the back of car park 3 yesterday morning. We are currently working with the local authorities and are unable to comment any further at this time.”
