DUDLEY Little Theatre will kick off the festive season in theatrical style when their annual pantomime arrives in Netherton.
The group will perform Mother Hubbard at Netherton Arts Centre from Thursday, December 5 to Sunday, December 8 and they are a promising a festive extravaganza for all the family.
The show tells the classic story of Old Mother Hubbard who runs a home for lost nursery rhyme children.
When she and her children are evicted from their house on Christmas Eve, the family flee to a nearby forest where they meet a host of magical creatures.
A spokesperson for Dudley Little Theatre said: "Rehearsals for Old Mother Hubbard began in early October and have been great fun for the fourteen-strong cast and two directors.
"In addition to the standard rehearsals we have been holding weekly singing rehearsals for the many catchy and toe-tapping songs that feature in the production, especially written by our resident composer and musical director. Several further rehearsals have been devoted to choreographing the set-pieces and slapstick. We even have some custard pies!"
Matinee performances at 2.30pm take place on Saturday December 7 and Sunday, December 8, with evening performances starting at 7.30pm each night.
To book a ticket, visit the Dudley Little Theatre website or call 01384 872583, 07582 318017 or 07954 424555 to reserve a space.
