A MAN admitted possessing a knuckle duster and class A drugs in Dudley bus station, a court has heard.

Jordan Nightingale, aged 22, of St Helens Avenue, Great Bridge, pleaded guilty to possessing both class A acid and a knuckle duster at Dudley bus station, at a hearing at Dudley Magistrates Court. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £90 surcharge and £185 costs. He also received a community order and must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months.

The following cases were also heard at Dudley Magistrates Court last week,

Emily Bates, aged 27, of Ivanhoe Street, Dudley, pleaded guilty to driving over the legal alcohol limit on Cinder Bank. She was fined £297 and was also ordered to pay a £32 surcharge and £135 costs. She was also disqualified from holding a driving licence for 20 months.

Lukas Karbowniczek, aged 31, of Clay Lane, Oldbury, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi A3 without the consent of its owner. He also admitted drink driving and driving without insurance and a licence. He received a 20 week prison sentence suspended for 24 months due to disregarding court orders. He also received a community order with a curfew requirement and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 48 months.

Stephen Ricketts, aged 29, of Cochrane Road, Dudley, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis. He received a 12 month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £20 surcharge.

James Baggott, aged 34, of Merrifield Road, Dudley, pleaded guilty to assaulting Paul Townsend by beating. He also admitted causing Paul Townsend harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He received a 16 week jail term suspended for 24 months. He was also ordered to obey a curfew for eight weeks and must pay a fine, compensation and costs totalling £400.

Robert Brettle, aged 57, of Thorns Avenue, Brierley Hill, pleaded guilty to driving above the legal alcohol limit. He was fined £500 and was also ordered to pay a £50 surcharge and £135 costs and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 24 months.

Hayley Robson, aged 26, of Swancote Road, Dudley, pleaded guilty to causing £100 worth of unlawful damage to the window of a front door. She was ordered to pay a fine, compensation, surcharge and costs totalling £390.

Inderjit Dhesi, aged 38, of Swan Crescent, Oldbury, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Netherton. He was jailed for 16 weeks due to committing the offence while on licence for manslaughter and it being his fourth alcohol related driving offence. He was also ordered to pay a £122 surcharge and was banned from holding a driving licence for six years.

Anna Downton, aged 34, of Castleton Street, Netherton, pleaded guilty to stealing £30 of items from B&M. She was fined £110 and ordered to pay £30 in compensation.
