The Big Sing Summer Youth Project returns to Ledbury with ‘Starlight Express’ following the success of last years The Wind in the Willows.
The month’s Encore Screening from the RSC is ‘Measure for Measure’ by William Shakespeare, the story of a young novice nun compromised by a corrupt official, who offers to save her brother from execution in return for sex. She threatens to expose him but who will believe her?
‘Death in the Staffroom’ written by Sue Randles is A Market Theatre Showcase Production. A spokesman said: “This programme provides an opportunity for new writers, actors and directors to showcase their talents to the public at affordable prices”.
Film buffs have a chance to see a bygone classic.
The spokesman added: Sunday Bloody Sunday from the 1970’s highlights how much people’s attitudes to relationships and each other have changed over just two generations."
