KINGFISHER Shopping Centre has announced its three new charity partners for the next 12 months.
After being shortlisted following nominations received, the Redditch-based charities received the highest number of votes from members of the local community through the Kingfisher Cares fundraising initiative.
The three chosen charities are Charlotte and Craig's Saving Hearts Foundation, Where Next Association, and Inspire Community Training which is committed to working with the Redditch community to provide services to support mental health and wellbeing.
The charity offers a wide range of services including; mental health support, family activities and learning, dementia-friendly sessions, as well as crafts and interest groups.
Domonique Lippett, marketing manager at Kingfisher, said: “Community is at the heart of what we do here at Kingfisher so we are delighted to be continuing our Kingfisher Cares initiative for another year, giving these three local charities the opportunity to build awareness and boost their fundraising efforts through a partnership with us.
"We are looking forward to collaborating with them over the coming months.”
Kingfisher Cares helped charities to raise more than £32k in 2018 though fundraising and promotional activities and now wants to surpass last year’s fundraising total, creating even more opportunities for local people who need support while raising awareness of the great work that charities carry out on a daily basis.
