Marygold proved readers’ most popular in Hereford when we invited them to nominate the best.

The Roadmaker Inn, Gorsley
The Roadmaker Inn is owned and run by former British Ghurka Soldiers, who served in the 1st Royal Ghurka Rifles. 
Among the specials offered are a starter, Momo - ‘Fresh homemade chicken mince dumplings steamed and served with fresh homemade Nepalese tomato chutney (onion, spring onion, ginger, and garlic)’. Momo are one of the most popular foods in Nepal, and were originally filled with buffalo meat.

Raduni, Ledbury
All the dishes you’d expect and an impressive selection of fish dishes, too, including Talapia Fish Bajah - boneless Talapia fish, cooked with cube garlic, onion, green chilli, cinnamon, donia and tomato. “Excellent every time” declared one Trip Advisor reviewer.

Shabagh, Leominster
Shabagh Tandoori and Balti Restaurant provides a free home delivery service within a five-mile radius. The restaurant seats up to 100 diners, and can also cater for birthdays, parties and corporate events.
Among the specials on offer at Shabagh are the romantically named Madhur Hari (honey pot!) - a very mild curry with honey, almond and coconut.

A recent Trip Advisor reviewer declared it “one of the best curry experiences we have had in a long time.”
Among the chef’s specials are Rawlpindi - chicken or lamb in ‘a highly spiced dish of dried red chillies simmered in sweet vinegar sauce spiced with garlic ginger with spinach, lightly sauteed, delightfully hot’.
