A DUO of events over two days featuring comedy and music will celebrate the launch of the Bewdley Fringe.
Comedy fans can catch TV funnyman Patrick Monahan at the newly refurbished The Barn at The Black Boy, on Kidderminster Road, tonight (Thursday, July 4).
He will be supported by award-winning LGBTQ sensation Laura Monmouth, and both will preview their Edinburgh Fringe shows.
On the Friday, July 5, Ed Sheeran's friend and mentor Luke Concannon will be performing a rare unplugged concert, with support from the Black Country's Jess Silk at the venue.
Luke is one half of Nizlopi, who had a number one hit with 'The JCB Song'. Ed Sheeran was once Luke's guitar technician at every show and now credits Luke with teaching him 'everything he knows'.
The Mayor & Mayoress of Bewdley will also be in attendance.
The Bewdley Fringe will host music, comedy, theatre and spoken word events throughout the year with a special October programme.
Tickets for the shows are available from the bar, or online at wegottickets.com/btc
