A CELEBRATED long-running tribute act is rambling on to Wolverley for a night of Rock classics.

Fred Zeppelin will perform Wolverley Social Club on Friday May 3, bringing the music of rock giants Led Zeppelin to the stage.

Zeppelin fans can experience a riff driven set of hits including favourites Whole Lotta Love, Rock and Roll and seminal rock anthem Stairway to Heaven.

Fred Zeppelin have been endorsed by members of Led Zeppelin throughout their 25 years of performing, with lead singer Robert Plant attending three of their gigs, and drummer John Bonham’s son Jason even jamming with the tribute act on stage.

The band have also received the honour of being invited to a charity event in London by Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page.

A host of notable rock performers have attended the band’s shows, including Roy Wood from Wizard and the Move, Slade’s Jimmy Lea, Magnum’s front-man Bob Catley, and Whitesnake guitarist Mel Galley.

Doors open at 8pm and the band take to the stage at 9pm.
