Sweet success
CODDINGTON man, David Hodgson is back to winning ways when it comes to stirring up a treat.
He just missed out on gold, earning himself a silver at the recent 14th Annual Marmalade Competition, in Cumbria; and he was up against stiff competition, because almost 3000 other jars were in contention
But Mr Hodgson is used to winning ways. A retired meat inspector and butcher, in the 1990’s he won the Three Counties Pie Championship with a home made game pie. He also supplied celebrity chef Gary Rhodes with his prize-winning sausages.
