A MALVERN woman had raised nearly £300 for the fight against pancreatic cancer.
Jayne Poole, of Green Lane, Malvern Wells, decided to support Pancreatic Cancer UK after her cousin's husband died of the condition in September last year.
After contacting the charity, which issued her with collecting buckets and tins, she held a fundraising day at a supermarket in the town, which raised £208. Contributions by several town businesses brought the total to £291.89.
She said: "I intend to carry on fundraising with the help of several businesses for as long as possible. As with all cancers, early diagnosis is vital.
"Thanks again to all who are helping to raise funds."
