YOUNGSTERS from a Moreton-in-Marsh school recently held a charity bake sale to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Kitebrook School year 5 pupils Eliza and Benji helped put the sale together with competition categories for each bake, designing winning certificates and running the stall with the rest of their form group. The sale made an impressive £287.50, which was even used as counting practice in their maths lesson
Year 1 teacher Charlotte Tudge said: “This pupil-led initiative has seen two of our children really shine with their ability to plan, organise and develop their idea and see it through to fruition. Their dedication and hard work has been particularly admirable and we are all so proud of their achievement for the Alzheimer’s Society.”
