POLICE are hunting a gang of violent would-be thieves after attacking a home in Wythall.
The offenders, who had their faces covered and were reportedly armed with machetes, attacked a property on Sycamore Drive on Monday, February 11 around 6.30pm.
They smashed the front living room window and demanded key cars.
However, they fled without the vehicles.
A West Mercia Police spokesman confirmed the attack.
They said: "We were called to Sycamore Drive at 6.25pm following reports a house had been attacked and a front window smashed.
"The offenders had their faces covered and demanded keys to cars. They escaped without the vehicles.
"We are investigating the incident as aggravated attempted burglary and would encourage anyone with information to come forward quoting incident reference number 616S of February 11."
