MUCH loved Redditch Music Shop will be turning down the volume for good as it prepares to close down after 34 years.
The store has graced the Kingfisher Shopping Centre since 1985 and has become a popular venue for Redditch music buffs.
Proprietor Pete Docherty confirmed he was closing for a number of reasons and said: "It's my displeasure to announce that our music shop will be closing after 34 years service to the town.
"We would like to say thank you to all our loyal customers who have supported us over the years.
"It is a very difficult time for retail but we've had a great 34 years."
He added: "We are selling our our remaining stock at cheap prices."
