THE finishing touches are currently being made to a new library for Ann Cam Church of England Primary School in Dymock.

A library has been on the wish list for the pupils and staff at the school.

And now, with the help of the school’s PTFA, Dymock Parish Council, Kempley Charities Trust and Tesco via its Bags of Help Grant Scheme, the new library is nearing completion.

Headteacher Chris Ward said: “The pupils are hoping that one of their favourite authors could come and open the library so the year 5/6 pupils are currently putting their persuasive writing skills to the test.

“We are incredibly thankful for all the parents and members of the community who have helped fundraise for, or made donations to, our new library. We hope the new library, and all the new books, will help our pupils develop a lifelong love for reading.”
