IN the build-up to her shows at London’s famous Lyric Theatre, songstress and comedienne, Liza Pulman and her band, will be gracing The Regal’s stage in Evesham to perform Barbra Streisand’s greatest hits.

There will also be anecdotes by candlelight, as a worthy tribute is paid to one of the America’s most celebrated singers and movie stars

It will be a reminder, perhaps, of the way she was.Barbra Streisand is particularly well known for films including Funny Girl, The Way We Were and A Star Is Born.

Laurence Wiper of The Regal: “Guests are invited to enjoy an evening of music, laughter and compelling storytelling from the comfort of candlelit tables and spacious circle seating in The Regal’s stunning art deco cinema and live events venue.

“Having played to packed houses across the country and two sell-out performances at Wilton’s Music Hall, we’re honoured to be welcoming Fascinating Aida’s Liza Pulman to The Regal.”

Laurence added: “It’s the perfect pre-Christmas outing with friends, colleagues and family and we do hope to see our regulars, as well as some new faces there!”

The Regal Evesham has preserved its original style and beautiful art deco features and was shortlisted for best rescue of any other heritage site in 2012 in The English Heritage Angel Awards

Lisa Pulman’s tribute to Barbra Streisand takes place on Saturday, December 8, at 7.30pm.
