AN award-winning Kidderminster florist's has thanked its loyal customers for helping the business to blossom over the last 25 years.

Flowers of Kidderminster, based in Lisle Avenue, is this month celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The shop, which was based in Blackwell Street for 16 years, has won several industry awards and even featured on Channel 4's Don't Tell The Bride in 2007.

Emma Dandy, 45, who owns Flowers of Kidderminster, said: "It's been an incredible 25 years. There's always something going on - one minute it's a wedding or the birth of a child, next we're doing sympathy flowers or funerals.

"We just want to thank all of our clients - old and new - for all the custom they've given us over the last 25 years. We're now looking forward to the next 25."

Since Emma took over the company as a budding florist, she has gone on to launch a specialist wedding service, Frocks 'n' Flowers, and even represented the British Florist Association at the NEC Wedding Show in Birmingham.

Flowers of Kidderminster specialises in contract work for bars, restaurants and receptions, and produces contemporary arrangements inspired by European designers, as well as traditional floral designs.

The business regularly employs work experience students from Wyre Forest schools, and supports local charities including Kemp Hospice and the Midlands Air Ambulance.
