OFFMORE Primary School in Kidderminster is opening its doors to the local community for an afternoon of festive fun to raise money for new IT equipment.

The Wordsworth Crescent school's popular PTA Christmas Fair is taking place on Wednesday, December 12, with games, face painting, hot food, a chocolate tombola and festive treats on sale.

Tabitha Smith, acting headteacher at Offmore Primary School, said: “Our annual Christmas fair is always popular, both within the school and the wider community.

"With lots of games, chances to win prizes and delicious food, it’s the perfect opportunity to get into the festive spirit.

“As always, we’re extremely thankful to the local businesses that support the event, whether that’s providing raffle prizes or taking a stall.

"We’re really excited about the variety and quality of merchandise at this year’s event, and I’m personally looking forward to picking up a gift or two.”

Visitors can pick up handmade gifts from local craftspeople from 3.15pm.

Entry is £1 for adults or free for children.

All money raised at the fair will towards buying new computer equipment for the school.
