COMMUNITY-spirited Kidderminster Rotarians have donated hundreds to a primary school to help fund much-needed library books.
Kidderminster Rotary Club presented Offmore Primary School with a cheque for £250 and some children's books in an effort to help re-stock their recently refurbished library.
The Heads of English at Offmore Primary School, Kirsty Bayliss and Gemma Brown, previously visited the Rotary club and discussed the issue of children leaving school without the basic skills of reading and writing.
Gemma said: “It is really difficult for children to learn to read when we have too few books and many are so worn.
"We really do appreciate what The Rotary Club is doing.”
