A MAN has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, drink driving and possession of knives after a crash in Malvern.

The alleged driver was arrested and has since been charged with multiple offences following a crash in Malvern at 10.40pm on Saturday, August 4 after police used a helicopter's thermal imaging camera to locate a suspect.

The helicopter's crew directed officers to a suspect's location in an orchard near Cowleigh Road, Malvern. A male was arrested around an hour after the crash was reported by a member of the public.

Kamil Guzy, aged 28, of Hereford is due to appear at magistrates court on August 28 and has been charged with driving with excess alcohol, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, aggravated vehicle taking, two offences of being in possession of a bladed article and a further charge of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
