The Droitwich Advertiser today launches its very own camera club and we are calling on all Worcestershire photographers to sign up.

The aim of the club is to give all photographers the chance to have their pictures published and potentially seem by millions of people online as well as in print.

We believe there is a wealth of talent across the region and hope to provide a platform for that talent to be displayed to a wider audience.

Pete Wallace, assistant editor at the Advertiser, said: “We consider ourselves very lucky to receive hundreds of pictures from amateur photographers every month, so we are really excited to help create this forum where amateur snappers can show off their images, ask questions and pass on knowledge.

“We are very much looking forward to getting to know our photographers from across the circulation area of our papers.”

People don’t need expensive camera equipment to be a member of our club, phone photos can be just as good.

Most subjects will be accepted, as long as they conform to our terms and you must hold the copyright for the photos you post.

You can join our dedicated Facebook group where members can share their best snaps and tips, get feedback and ask for advice.
