A MISSING man was detained under the Mental Health Act after police found him in a Bromsgrove park.
West Mercia Police responded to concerns about the safety of a man in his 30s who was missing in the area at around 8pm last night (Tuesday).
Witnesses described seeing up to four police cars 'swarming' the area around Kidderminster Road.
A spokesman for the police force said: "The police presence was part of a search for a missing man in the area.
"He was located nearby in Sanders Park and detained under section 136 of the Mental Health Act and is now receiving specialist medical care."
