THE new mayor of Droitwich Spa has been elected.
Councillor Alex Sinton has been elected as the new mayor of Droitwich for the next civic year.
His consort will be his wife, Eleanor Sinton, and the two will hold the title until May 2025.
Cllr Sinton has chosen SpeakEasy N.O.W, a self-advocacy charity run by people with learning disabilities, and the Droitwich Spa Disability Football Team.
The two were elected at the Annual Meeting of Droitwich Spa Town Council on May 13.
Cllr Mrs Christine Bowden was elected deputy mayor of Droitwich, and her husband, Cllr Eric Bowden, will be her constable.
