A 33-YEAR-old, given a chance to rehabilitate himself after leaving prison last month, reoffended within days.

As we previously reported Christopher Stones, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 24 weeks, suspended for a year, for various offences.

They included assault and criminal damage as magistrates found there was a realistic prospect of rehabilitation on July 7.

It has now emerged that just a month later, on August 6, Stones breached a restraining order against two people he was prohibited from contacting.

Stones indicated a guilty plea to a charge of harassment - breach of a restraining order when he appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday, (August 8).

Magistrates adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report telling the dad-of-one - previously of Owletts End, Pershore - to return to the Kidderminster court on September 5.

Stones, who at last month's hearing gave a care-of address of Valley Way, Droitwich, was given conditional bail.
