DIGLIS Bridge in Worcester has been cordoned off by police with two forensic investigation vans present. 

Diglis Bridge cordon: Man arrested on suspicion of murder

The footpath on the Diglis Dock Road side of the River Severn has been shut to the public with a total of four police vehicles, including the forensic units, on the scene. 

A Hereford and Worcester Fire Service unit towing a rescue boat arrived at around 2pm and a crew has just headed down the Diglis Dock Road side of the river.

No ambulance crew is present but Severn Trent Water workers have been called to the area.
