A NEW Neapolitan-style pizzeria and cocktail bar is coming to Warrington in the new year.
Dough Dough will be launching in the former glass-fronted Prezzo unit in Old Market Place, Golden Square.
The small north west chain already has restaurants in Chester and Liverpool and it has targeted Warrington and Derby for its expansion plans in 2021.
As indicated by the name, the Italian takes great pride in its signature dough which chefs raise for 24 hours which give the wood-fired pizzas a puffed up 'cornicione' (crust).
Depending on when tier 3 restrictions lift, Dough Dough Warrington is hoping to open its doors in January.
A spokesman said: “We’re so excited to bring our restaurant to Warrington very soon, our restaurant is all about good times with good people and we think the people of Warrington will love what we have to offer them.
"We’re hoping to open our site in January and deliver our traditional Neapolitan pizzas and hand crafted cocktail menu to Warrington in 2021."
