NEW data shows the number of Worcestershire residents who died with Covid-19 mentioned on the death certificate in all settings has reached 580.

There were 16 coronavirus deaths recorded across all settings in Worcestershire in the latest week of data made available.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) all settings figures, for the week ending November 20 shows the deaths, where the virus was mentioned on the death certificate, included four Worcester residents, two who died in hospital and two in a care home.

Four Wychavon residents died, two in hospital, one at home, and one in a hospice.

Three people from Malvern died, all in hospital. Four people from Wyre Forest died, three in hospital and one at home.

Three people from Bromsgrove died, two in hospital and one at home.

This latest ONS data means that in total 580 people in Worcestershire classed as having Covid-19, had died up to November 20.

A total of 71 Worcester residents have now died from coronavirus including 33 in hospital, 30 in a care home, four at home, two in a communal establishment and two in a hospice.

A total of 139 Bromsgrove residents have died including 78 in hospital, 55 in a care home, four elsewhere, one at home and one in a communal establishment.

A total of 133 people in Wyre Forest have died including 77 in hospital, 43 in a care home, 10 at home, two in a communal establishment and one elsewhere.

In Wychavon 123 people have died including 58 in hospital, 51 in a care home, six at home, four in a communal establishment, three in a hospice and one elsewhere.

A total of 64 people from Redditch have died including 53 in hospital, eight in a care home, two at home, and one in a communal establishment.

And 50 people from Malvern have died from coronavirus including 27 in hospital, 20 in a care home, two at home and one in a communal establishment.
