THE trial of a man accused of a string of sex offences against children continues at Worcester Crown Court today.

Simon Clancy, formerly of Teme Road, Tolladine, denies 10 counts of child sexual offences, alleged to have taken place between January and November 1992.

On Monday a jury of 12, six men and six women, was selected and told the trial is expected to last a week.

And they heard the taped interview from one of the victims who said he suffered from flashbacks, and had become a "horrible person" to be around at times due to what he alleges happened to him.

The trial, which is being overseen by Judge Nicholas Cole, is expected to resume this morning.

Also in court 3 the trial of Kane Blackson continues.

After 3pm a number of administrative hearings are listed including the cases for Richard Evans, Stuart Redfern, Jefferson Gowland and Shannon Taylor.

Not all the cases that appear on the list would be of limited interest to the public or press. They include bail applications, administrative hearings and mentions.

One of the courts is remote which means parties including barristers and defendants appear over videolink rather than in person.
