WARNING: Offensive language can be heard in the video
THERE has been a heavy police presence outside McDonald's at The Cross this evening.
A number of officers, wearing masks, have been speaking to revellers outside the takeaway.
Meanwhile an eyewitness filmed a disturbance between a group of men in Foregate Street in the last hour.
Two men can be seen confronting each other in the road, before another steps in.
Swearing can be heard and a Mercedes-Benz blocks the junction.
There appears to be little social distancing of those involved. Earlier Worcestershire’s Public Health director Dr Kathryn Cobain released a statement pleading with city residents to follow the rules.
In the statement she said she was “really concerned” by the rising infection rate in Worcester as it was clear people were not socially distancing.
