A WOMAN was exricated from her car by firefighters following a crash involving a van in Kidderminster.
Two ambulances were called to the scene of the crash at the junction of Stourport Road and Sutton Road just after 5.30am on Thursday morning (October 29).
A car and a van had been involved in a crash.
Two crews from the Wyre Forest Hub fire station were called to the scene shortly afterwards at 6.08am.
Firefighters extricated a woman, who was driving the car, from her vehicle and she was treated for injuries at the scene before being taken to hospital.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 5:38am to reports of an RTC between a car and van at the junction of Stourport Road and Sutton Road in Kidderminster.
"Two ambulances attended the scene.
"We treated one patient, a woman, who was the driver of the car, for injuries not believed to be serious and she was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.”
The road was closed by police while emergency services were at the scene.
