RUGBY players from across Worcestershire can boost their skills with top county coaches at a rugby camp at a school.

Year 11 rugby players can attend the rugby camp at The Stourport High School and Vlth Form College during the half term break.

Worcester Warriors coaches will be running the camp on Wednesday (October 28) from 9am until 3pm.

Players will also have the chance to find out about the Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE)programme hosted by the school in partnership with the Warriors.

Assistant principal Jane Millington said: “We will shortly be inviting applications for next September’s intake to this highly successful elite rugby programme.

“Now in its third year, it provides many opportunities for players to develop their game at the same time as completing academic studies.

“For example, one of our first graduates from this summer, Jack Lewis, has joined Ealing Trailfinders in their Senior Academy, whilst taking a business degree at Brunel University.

“All are welcome to join the camp and we will be following all RFU guidance in regards to Covid-19 restrictions throughout the day.”
