A CHILD and woman have suffered serious injuries - with the infant's described as 'potentially life-changing' - after being hit by a car at a busy Kidderminster junction.
The woman was also pushing a baby stroller when the accident happened at the junction of Sutton Park Road and Stourport Road on Thursday afternoon (October 1) - but thankfully the tot was not hurt.
Police are appealing for information from witnesses and any motorists with dashcam footage of the incident, which happened at around 3.10pm.
They said a Grey Kia Sorento struck two pedestrians, a young child and a woman in her 40s, as they crossed the road.
There were significant traffic delays in Kidderminster as the road was closed while emergency services attended the scene.
At first police said the child had suffered potentially life-changing injuries but a later statement described the injuries suffered by both the woman and child as 'serious'.
