THE man who killed Kai Archer in Bournemouth will be sentenced for manslaughter by a judge next month.
As reported, Jamie Frank Higgs was acquitted of murdering Mr Archer but found guilty of manslaughter by a jury on Wednesday, August 5, following a trial at Winchester Crown Court.
Higgs, aged 19 and of Windsor Road, Bournemouth, stabbed Mr Archer three times in the chest and abdomen during an altercation outside Bournemouth Pizza Co. in St Swithun's Road on the evening of November 16, 2019.
Mr Archer, aged 20 and of St Swithun's Road, was rushed to Poole Hospital but died a short time later.
A hearing to sentence Higgs was due to take place at Winchester Crown Court on Thursday, August 6, however, Judge Jennifer Eady DBE adjourned the case to Tuesday, September 29, for pre-sentencing reports to be completed.
The defendant was remanded into custody.
