A GROUP caught breaking social distancing lockdown rules had to be dispersed by police.
Officers were called to Atherstone Road, in Allerton, on Wednesday evening to Incommunities land.
An Incommunities spokesman said, "A call was made to police reporting people gathering in the area who do not reside there.
"There was a small bonfire outside and a social gathering was taking place.
"Police attended and dispersed males who did not live at the address in line with their COVID-19 procedure.
“We would urge everyone to follow the Government guidelines on social distancing and adhere to the ban on gatherings of more than two people and help protect our NHS and save lives.”
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 6.40pm to a report of a small group of people in Atherstone Road, Allerton. Officers attended and the people were dispersed."
