THERE was traffic disruption for motorists last night after a car fire on the M65.

Crews from Burnley were called to the incident on the eastbound carriageway at junction 10 at 8pm.

Crew manager Ian McGee said: "There was a bit of traffic disruption and the road was closed for half an hour.

"It was involving a Vauxhall Zafira car and the fire was accidental.

"The people who were in the car had got out safe and no-one was hurt.

"We were there for about half an hour."
