Here is a round up of the most significant developments in planning permission from the last week.
Caversham apartments and cinema complex
Plans for 16 residential apartments, a cinema leisure facility, retail shops and restaurants were withdrawn on 24 January 2020.
They were received on 19 March 2018 but no progress appears to have been made with them now being shelved.

Orangery on Hungerford Road
An application to build a single storey extension orangery on Hungerford Road has been accepted.
Similar to a conservatory, an orangery is a home extension with a glass roof typically covering less than 75 per cent of the overall roof area, and glass walls covering less than 50 per cent of the total wall area.

Gymnasium & Study on Linden Road
Residents have been given permission to build an outhouse that will be designated as a gymnasium and study.
This comes merely four months after their application was submitted at the latter end of September.

Plans to convert a house on Tilehurst Road into 4 flats have been withdrawn.
