THE week may have been dominated by a general election, but it was a busy one for business news before that.

1. A fraud probe has been launched after a "significant" amount of money disappeared from  Bournemouth Coastal Improvement District (BID), the body that collects levies from businesses to promote areas such as Westbourne, Boscombe and Southbourne.

2. The chief executive of Dorset employer LV= is to stand down at the end of this year.
