Road closed
WAKEFIELD Road has been closed by police following a serious accident that left a woman injured.
The incident happened at 5.53pm, and police and emergency services remain on the scene.
The road is currently closed from Dryden Street to the roundabout. A police van is stationed near the roundabout preventing traffic from using the road.
Police have advised motorists to avoid the area.
The extent of the woman's injuries is not yet clear.
