MEMBERS of Stourbridge Running Club were out in force at the Hagley multi-terrain 10km last week.

Rob Colman led the way in 41.18 followed by Chris Ashcroft 42.36, Adam Crompton 43.08, Keith Spokes 45.50, Dave Sheppard 47.22, Adrian Phillips 48.08.

Finishing in the 49th minute was Ian Whyatt 49.11, Sebastien Nicolas 49.29, John Coyne 49.45 and Tim Lloydlangston 49.53.

Rachel Batchelor was the lone female representing the club finishing with a time of 50.27. Philip Elwell 56.19, Mark Farnan 57.05 and Errol Cumberbatch 61.22 completed the line up.

Chris Ashcroft also went on to run at the Worcester Half Marathon at the weekend. He completed the race in a fantastic time of 1.32.55. Andrea Evans completed The Hathersage Hurtle, a 20 mile trail race in the Peak District with a time of 4:04:17.

Phoebe Packham had the most incredible experience at the weekend, travelling to China to take on the Great Wall of China Marathon. Despite the humidity and the difficult course, Phoebe finished in 4.38.25. This outstanding effort meant that she was the eighth female finisher across the line.
