Traffic is returning to normal on the eastbound M62 after a lorry overturned between J24 Ainley Top and J25 Brighouse.
Congestion was tailing back past J23 at Huddersfield, and drivers were being advised to avoid the area, but all lane closures have now been removed.
Traffic was initially held to allow emergency services to assist when the incident happened at around 3.45pm.
Cameras showed a car also involved in the accident between lane one and two, and the overturned lorry in lanes two and three.
Westbound traffic was also slow due to rubbernecking, with queues stretching back to Junction 26.

Please avoid #M62 heading east bound past Junction 23 and onwards from #Huddersfield. There has been a road traffic collision and we are on route. Our log 1166 refers and @HighwaysYORKS are on route too. Please use an alternative route. #DriveSafe
