TWO knives were found in Worcester - one discovered in a public park.
Police thanked vigilant residents for alerting them to the knives, which were found in a park in Carlisle Road, Ronkswood, and on Keswick Drive, Warndon.
A spokesman for police, covering Gorse Hill and Rainbow Hill, said officers acted after calls from the public.
He added: "As the knives were outside during the inclement weather there will be no forensic evidence available. The knives cannot be linked to any crimes either and so will therefore be destroyed."
