THE high winds may have calmed down this morning, but a blustery weekend is on the way.
A yellow weather warning for very strong winds has been in place from last night (Wednesday 6) to 9am this morning.
Today we are in for a reprieve, but a further yellow warning for strong winds has now been put in place from midday on Friday February 8 to 6pm on Saturday February 9.
The Met Office is warning of very strong winds across the West Midlands, which could lead to some travel disruption.
The weather experts say to expect some delays to road and rail transport, along with delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges.
Some short term loss of power and other services is also possible.
