FESTIVE fun will be continuing at intu Merry Hill until next week.

The shopping centre's amphitheatre has been turned into a winter wonderland for the festive season and sees shoppers treated to realistic-looking snow flurries.

Merry Hill bosses decided to swap the traditional Christmas grotto for a free Christmas Experience featuring a rooftop scene complete with sleigh, snowmen and falling snow which visitors to the mall can look onto.

Children can make their way through a chimney slide to a decorated living room complete with a letter writing station for those eager to write last-minute wish lists to Santa.

The Christmas Experience will be open until Friday December 28.

Families can visit the attraction and see Santa between 10am and 7pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm on Saturday December 22 and 11am to 4pm on Sunday December 23.

The mall is will also play host to a roaming Santa Claus this weekend - the last before Christmas - from 11am to 3pm; and there'll be a special sign language Santa in residence on Saturday December 21.

Shoppers can also see the mall's very own mammoth Marmalade in a live procession brass band on Saturday (December 21) at 11am, noon, 1pm and 2pm.
