AFTER a cold but sunny day across most parts of the Black Country and North Worcestershire yesterday, today is expected to see the return of snow.
It will be cold and mostly cloudy at first, but patchy sleet and snow will be moving in from the northwest through the morning. Temperatures are expected to be around the 1.5°C mark.
The sleet and snow will clear slowly to the southeast by the late afternoon. Bright or sunny spells will then develop, with temperatures reaching highs of 3°C.
This evening will see clear skies and light winds, allowing a severe frost to form overnight with, perhaps, some patches of freezing fog forming through the small hours in some low lying areas. Minimum temperatures of -4°C are expected.
