ALCESTER'S stunning Ragley Hall once again plays host to Camper Calling this August Bank Holiday weekend.

The three-day extravaganza takes place across Friday, August 24, to Sunday, August 26 for the third year.

This year's festival boasts headline performances from Spice Girl Melanie C, indie rockers Feeder, and Merseysiders The Coral, alongside sets from pop chart-hitters Scouting For Girls and The Futureheads.

The brain-child of the team behind Camper Jam at Weston Park, the music and entertainment extravaganza has quickly established itself as the Midlands’s finest family friendly, boutique music festival featuring some of the very best loved bands and emerging new music.

It's three stages will feature music from rock, pop and ska, to funk, soul and even garage.

Away from the music, there are tonnes of activities for families to enjoy, including bierkeller fun, water sports on the lake and a Mexican fiesta.

Shelley Bond, events director, said: “ We are so excited about this years magical main stage line-up.

"It’s a total honour to announce a former Spice Girls as our Friday night headliner. Mel C is the epitome of class. It’s great to have some girl power at the top of our bill!

"It’s also amazing to announce Brit-Indie rock favourites Feeder as Saturday headliners and psych-pop legends

"The Coral as Sunday headliners.

"We’re trying to bring together the nations best-loved acts and these headliners offer a nostalgic throw back to the 90s and 00s.

"They are sure to play hit after hit as well as new and exciting tracks.”

Other attractions include creative craft workshops, a funfair, lake activities and a children's circus show.

There is also a great selection of specially selected street food stalls and pop up bars, alongside a craft ale and cider tent.

Surrounded by 27 acres of delightful ever-changing gardens, the parkland contains the Children's Adventure Playground, Woodland Walk, and Lakeside Picnic Area.

And you don’t need to be a camper van owner or enthusiast to enjoy the festival.
