Changing Perspectives
Changing Perspectives is an exciting textile art installation in two rooms of National Trust Croome Court. Worcester Embroiderers' Guild, Young Embroiderers and local textile groups have worked collaboratively to produce a colourful and skillful display that will be on show until December. The work depicts the varied history and beautiful landscape of Croome worked in free machine and hand embroidery, felting and mixed media techniques. It is a colourful and exciting textile feast for the eyes. Although the rooms are open every day, stewards from the Embroiderers' Guild will be on hand on Thursdays throughout the summer to answer your questions.
A special event aimed at encouraging young embroiderers is running on Friday August 9th. Please see NT Croome website for more details.
