A GRADUATE from Upton-upon-Severn is looking forward to an expedition to the central American countries of Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
Adriana Keast, aged 22, is visiting the area in February next year as a member of a Raleigh International mission to carry out community and environmental work.
She will spend most of her time in a Nicaraguan village working on building a community centre and pre-school, and a gravity-fed water system, and on creating trails and erecting viewing platforms in a Costa Rican national park.
“I’m looking forward to using my skills to help build things that will really be useful to people,” said Adriana, who graduated from the University of Portsmouth after studying interior design.
