£38m part-dualling of Worcester's Southern Link Road revealed
As everyone knows and states that the bridge is the problem.
Then surely anyone with common sense should know that that is the place to START not everywhere else first to increase traffic and to make the problem 100% worse..
OH I forgot it was in the hands of " planners" not normal human beings,
so common sense is the last thing they think of is ----- there pockets a priority?

Road rage man smashed windscreen with axe
I think you will find voledog that the Hume case was mainly for perjury and abuse of his position as an MP, he lied to everyone, as reguards this road rage incident then i personally would have given the guy 5 years.

We must pay out and save money
The whole council is like a circus and staffed by clowns, whose only reason for working their is to fleece the tax payer and earn shed loads of money rather than provide decent, cost effective and efficient services, basically what e pay our taxes for. I really do think it is time for the concept of the council to be wound down and start involving private sector businesses in the running of some service, business who's staff have business acumen and focus which will result in better, leaner services. The Worcestershire LEP, a board of successful business owners from throughout the County, should now be handed the reigns to oversee the delivery of services.

West Mercia Police under more pressure in 'Plebgate' row
Keith B wrote:
There appears to be something terribly wrong with West Mercia Police. It is very close to corruption and shows an institution that believes it is above the law it is supposed to enforce. Either David Shaw gets hold of it or he has to go - along with the illusive Bill Longmore, who will be removed at the next PCC election, but who should have the grace to stand down on the grounds of inability to carry out the functions of the job.
Ball, Jones and Longmore all seem to have gone native in representing the police establishment - not doing their job and representing the public who elected them.
