TICKETS are still available for long-serving Worcestershire opener Daryl Mitchell's star-studded dinner at Lord's in November.

Mitchell, who has been stripped of the captaincy this week by director of cricket Steve Rhodes, is celebrating his benefit year with Worcestershire.

Mitchell yesterday revealed he had been sacked as New Roasd captain after six-and-a-half seasons at the helm.

He has been succeeded in the position by all-rounder Joe Leach.

The former England trio of Alec Stewart, Angus Fraser and Geoff Miller will be the guest speakers in the Long Room on Thursday, November 3.

Tickets cost £200 and the package includes:

One hour pre-dinner drinks reception with unlimited house wine, beer and soft drinks.

Three course dinner.

Half bottle of house wine per person.

The drinks reception is at 6.15pm, dinner is served at 7.15pm with carriages home from 11pm.
