WORCESTER Warriors bring in Jonny Arr for injured scrum-half Francois Hougaard at Sale Sharks in the Gallagher Premiership on Sunday (3pm).

Boss Alan Solomons has made three changes as Pierce Phillips and Marco Mama are also handed starts.

Hougaard misses out with a rib injury while Phillips comes in for Anton Bresler (groin) and Mama makes his comeback from a groin strain in place of Alafoti Faosiliva.

Welsh wizard Josh Adams will make his 50th appearance for the club after fellow winger Bryce Heem hit the milestone in the opening 21-20 home defeat to Wasps last Saturday.

Summer signing Michael Heaney is among the replacements and could be in line for his Warriors debut as could Welshman Ashley Beck.

Sale, who slumped 51-23 at Harlequins last weekend, make two changes as Josh Beaumont returns as part of a back-row shuffle while Mark Jennings comes in at inside centre for his first start in the Premiership this year.

Sharks director of rugby Steve Diamond said: “I expect the Warriors to do well under the guidance of Alan and the new coaching regime at Sixways.

“They traditionally have a good pack of forwards and a threat from scrum-half. They are strong through their midfield and have an exciting back three.

“It’s been a hard-working, difficult week after our performance at Harlequins. However, our senior players grasped the nettle and have delivered in training. Hopefully, this will transfer onto the pitch on Sunday.

“This is our first home match and it’s important we get off to a good start.”
