SCRUM-HALF Michael Dowsett has signed a permanent deal at Worcester Warriors.
The English-qualified half-back, who celebrates his 25th birthday today, has made eight appearances for Worcester since moving to Sixways in November.
He capped his debut with a try in a win over Bristol in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.
Dowsett previously spent three seasons with Australian Super Rugby side ACT Brumbies, making 22 appearances for the Canberra-based side.
Dowsett also featured for New Zealand outfit Southland in their Mitre 10 Cup competition in 2016, while he also counts Canberra Vikings and New South Wales Country Eagles as former clubs.
Warriors director of rugby Gary Gold said: “Michael has shown tremendous professionalism since joining the club.
“He provides important competition in the half-back position and he’s a hungry, enthusiastic individual who drives standards across the board.”
Dowsett said: “I’ve enjoyed my short time in Worcester so far and I’m looking forward to the future. Hopefully, I can take my opportunities when they come along and help the team push on.”
